AC Boats for Emirates Team New Zealand

By December 05, the first of the two 2007 generation AC yachts for ETNZ was launched and shipped off to Valencia. By the end of the 2006 Louis Vuitton Championship, ETNZ was ranked #1.  NZL84 was joined by NZL92 in October 2006. Both yachts are often seen out on the Hauraki Gulf being put through their paces.

NZL84 and NZL92 were each constructed over a six month build programme. Detailed construction of these carbon fibre racing machines was undertaken by a talented Cookson Boats Team. Their passion for the project was evident throughout, along with an enormous amount of pride and accomplishment. Each yacht is custom design built to stringent America’s Cup Class Rules which stipulate design parameters.
